Dr. Gyanendra Sharma’s studies have been rooted in the Sanskrit language, grammar and the classical Indian shastric tradition. Along with a Ph.D. in Sanskrit grammar, he has steadily continued his study of the Indian shastras. Within this tradition of study, jyotish shastra has also been an important subject of his reflection and work.
The study of the classical discipline of Sanskrit and of traditional systems of knowledge has shaped his outlook. Today he speaks on Sanatan Dharma, the shastras, puja vidhi and jyotish on the basis of his study and experience.
His guidance rests on the authority of the shastras — not on fear or superstition. He analyses every Kundli himself, and every consultation remains fully personal and confidential.
He is the author of the book "Pitru-Karm Shraddh-Mimansa" — a work focused on answers from the shastras to questions on Pitru Dosh and Shraddh, presented by the Harihar Swami Karpatri Dharmarth Trust. He has taken part in various spiritual, cultural and social programmes.
